1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the CDH Securities platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CDH Securities Limited ("CDH Securities", "we", "our", "us"), a company licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Ghana.
2. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be a resident of Ghana or eligible to invest under Ghanaian law.
- Successfully complete our KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. CDH Securities is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to safeguard your credentials.
4. Investment Products & Services
CDH Securities offers various investment products including savings plans, fixed deposits, treasury bills, bonds, mutual funds, and stocks. Each product has specific terms including interest rates, tenors, minimum amounts, and withdrawal conditions which are displayed on the product page.
Important: Past performance does not guarantee future returns. All investments carry risk. Interest rates are subject to change based on market conditions and regulatory requirements.
5. Deposits & Withdrawals
Deposits are processed via approved payment channels (mobile money, bank transfer). Withdrawal requests are processed within 1-3 business days, subject to verification. CDH Securities reserves the right to delay withdrawals where there is suspicion of fraud or for compliance purposes.
6. Fees & Charges
CDH Securities may charge fees for certain transactions or services. All applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you confirm a transaction. We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with prior notice to users.
7. Early Withdrawal
Fixed-term investment products may impose penalties for early withdrawal. The penalty rate is stated on the product page. Flexible savings products may be withdrawn at any time without penalty, subject to processing times.
8. Blockchain Ledger
All transactions on the Platform are recorded on an immutable blockchain ledger. This provides an auditable and transparent record of your investment activity. Blockchain records are for verification and audit purposes and do not constitute separate financial instruments.
9. Account Suspension & Termination
CDH Securities reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms.
- You provide false or misleading information.
- We detect or suspect fraudulent activity.
- Required by law, regulation, or court order.
Upon termination, outstanding investments will be handled in accordance with the applicable product terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
CDH Securities shall not be liable for losses arising from market fluctuations, system outages beyond our control, or your failure to maintain account security. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the value of your account balance at the time of the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, without prejudice to any dispute resolution mechanism provided by the SEC Ghana.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
